Alan W. Hillman, age 64, of Deckerville, passed away Wednesday August 16, 2017 in Autumnwood of Deckerville.
He was born October 18, 1952 in Deckerville, the oldest son of the late Ward and Joyce (Poole) Hillman.
Alan grew up in Deckerville and attended Deckerville Community School graduating in the Class of 1971. He was a 27 year employee of Protocraft and later Dott Manufacturing. He enjoyed bowling, gardening and hunting.
On April 29, 1972 Alan married Miss. Judy Rumble. Together they had three daughters, Tricia (C.J.) Mosher of Texas, Kristina Hillman of Deckerville, and Kellie (Brett) Davis of Ypsilanti. He is also survived by Seven grandchildren, Brittney Mosher, Mallory Mosher, Garret Moore, Maegan Garant, Brenna Davis, Olivia Hillman and Jaxen Davis; one great grandson, Bentlee Mosher; two brothers, Curtis (Wendy) Hillman of Standish, and Todd (June) Hillman of Sandusky; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services to honor the life of Alan W. Hillman will be 11:00 AM., Monday in the Apsey Funeral Home. Pastors David Frost and Mark Thayer will officiate. Burial will be in Downing.
Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 PM Sunday and 10:00 AM., until the time of service on Monday in the Apsey Funeral Home.
Memorials may be given to the Autumnwood Activities Fund.
