Kenneth Norton Obituary

Kenneth L. Norton, age 100, of Deckerville went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 10, 2014 in Midland.

Ken was born September 13, 1914 in Marion Township, the son of the late Edwin and Emma Norton. He later married Shirley VanSickle on June 24, 1939 in Deckerville.

Ken was a member of the Deckerville Bible Church. He was the bee inspector for Sanilac County. Most of all he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

Ken is survived by his daughters: Lynda ( Paul ) Schoelles, Elaine Wing, Kimberly ( Edward ) Thompson. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Shirley, and 5 siblings.

Funeral service Friday 1:00 PM at Apsey Funeral Home - Deckerville, where friends may visit on Thursday 6-8 PM. Pastor Jeff Homan officiating. Interment Downing Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Ken may be made to the Deckerville Bible Church.
