Randy Brabant Obituary
Randy L. Brabant Sr., age 61 of Orange City, FL., formerly of Deckerville passed away on Thursday July 5, 2018 in Florida Hospital Hospice Care, Orange City with his family at his side.
He was born March 14, 1957 in Deckerville the son of the late Leroy and Delta Jean (Burgess) Brabant.
He married Gayle D. Wessel on September 19, 1992 in Deckerville.
Randy was the former owner operator of Brabant Salvage and the Deckerville Ace Hardware. He enjoyed hunting, DJing/music/singing, collecting shells at the beach, racing, gardening, patriotism, and loved hanging with his family and wife.
He is survived by his wife Gayle of Orange City, FL.; two sons, Randy (Jamie) Brabant Jr., of Applegate, Tony (Jacquelyn) Brabant of Chesterfield; step-daughters Jessica (Jason) Lee of Yale, Leigha Mayer of Brown City; and step-son Jeremy (Amy) Johnson of Deckerville; grandchildren, Veronica, Tylar, Ada, and Luke; his brother Dennis (Denise) of Grand Ledge; sister Brenda (Jim) Patterson of Carsonville; his paternal grandmother Ada Brabant of KY.; also, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one sister Teresa Minier in 2002.
Funeral services to honor the life of Randy L. Brabant Sr., will be held 11:00 AM., Saturday at the Apsey Funeral Home. Pastor Jason Lee will officiate. Burial will be in Port Sanilac Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1:00 PM-9:00 PM Friday and 10:00 AM-11:00 AM Saturday in the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the family.
