Aurora Ledezma

April 1, 1932 - January 22, 2018

God saw you were getting tired, when a cure was not to be. He closed His arms around you and whispered “Come to Me” and He gave you needed rest. God’s garden must be Beautiful. He only takes the best. Aurora Ledezma, age 85, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2018 in Adrian, Michigan. She is survived by her children, Lenore McAuley (Frank Newsome), Antonia Bourke, Maria (Felix) Segura, Juanita (John) Monturo, Irma (Rick) Newsome, Ramon (Penny), Jerry (Diane), Richard (Josie), Frank (Patricia), Robert (Darlece) and David Ledezma. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Ledezma, her son, Jose Ledezma and her son-in-law David Bourke. Born April 1, 1932, Aurora lived as a devoted wife and mother raising 12 children. A longtime resident of Deckerville, she enjoyed cooking, making quilts for her family, crocheting, and enjoyed shopping. She also had a special talent for nurturing plants. Aurora will be celebrated at a memorial service in Adrian on Saturday, January 27, 2018. Burial service will be held at 1:00 PM., Saturday April 28, 2018 in Deckerville, Michigan, at the Downing Cemetery.
