Beverly Schumacher Obituary
Beverly Jean Schumacher, age 83, of Deckerville, passed away Friday November 2, 2018 in her home.
She was born October 10, 1935 in Deckerville, the daughter of the late George L. and Beatrice (McVittie) Wintermute.
She married LaVerne Schumacher on October 25, 1952 in Deckerville.
Beverly enjoyed baking cookies, crocheting and going to the casinos.
She is survived by her husband LaVerne Schumacher of Deckerville; one son William (Julie) Schumacher of Saginaw; three daughters, Linda (Gary) Gerkin of Saginaw, Donna (Phil) Daley of Deckerville and Judy Sieggreen of Three Rivers; special daughters, Kim Sweitzer of Palms and Becky Foster of Sandusky; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; four sisters, Wanda Davis, Barbara Taylor and Virginia (Steve) Pozsgay all of Deckerville and Shirley Darabos of Saginaw along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister Mrs. Sharon Bulgrien.
Funeral services to honor the life of Beverly Jean Schumacher will be 11:00 AM., Monday in the Apsey Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Garavaglia will officiate. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3:00-9:00 PM., Sunday and 10:00 AM until the time of service on Monday.
Memorials can be made to McLaren Port Huron Hospice.
