Clifford Kursinsky Obituary
Clifford H. Kursinsky, age 86, of Deckerville, formerly of Palms, died Thursday May 10, 2018 in Autumnwood of Deckerville.
He was born January 21, 1932 in Bad Axe, the son of the late Clifford C. and Dorothy (Moy) Kursinsky.
He married Miss. Jeanette A. Morell on May 22, 1954 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Argyle.
Cliff was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US. Army. He worked thirty seven years for the Sanilac County Road Commission at the Cedardale garage. He enjoyed motorcycles, gardening, painting houses, reading, buying and selling guns and watching re-runs of Gun Smoke and MASH. Cliff was a member of DAV Post 75, American Legion Post 197, and St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Palms.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette of Deckerville; three sons, Randall Kursinsky of Midland, Richard (Melanie) Kursinsky of Oakland Township, Daniel (Kelly) of AL.; one daughter Mrs. Debra (William III) Burgess of Deckerville; six grandchildren, Jason Burgess, Christopher Burgess, Justin Kursinsky, Tara Kursinsky, Andrew Kursinsky and Jordan Kursinsky; four brothers, Richard (Odette) Kursinsky of Italy, Donald Kursinsky of FL., William (Gerri) Kursinski of AZ., and Raymond (Darlene) Kursinsky of Croswell; also several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass to honor the life of Clifford H. Kursinsky will be held at 11:00 AM., Monday May 14, 2018 in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Palms, St. Isidore Parish. Fr. Todd Arnberg will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:00 PM-8:00 PM Sunday in the Apsey Funeral Home and from 10:00 AM until the time of service at St. Patrick's on Monday.
Memorials may be given to American Legion Post 197 or St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
