Dale McCarty Obituary
Dale A. McCarty, age 86, of Carsonville, passed away Sunday March 1, 2020 in Autumnwood of Deckerville.
He was born May 22, 1933 in Forester Township the son of the late Harold and Myrtle (Clifton) McCarty.
He married Miss. Evelyn Kilbourn on November 7, 1953 in Sandusky. He was a lifelong area farmer, growing up in Forester Township, attending school in Forester and Deckerville. Dale never met a stranger, he talked to everybody.
Mr. McCarty is survived by his wife Evelyn; three sons, Jerry McCarty of Forester, Dennis (Dora) McCarty of Croswell, Ken (Julie) McCarty of Forester; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; three sisters, Beatrice Liput of Pt. Sanilac, Ruth (John) Kozlowski of Forester and Barbara (Ted) Thayer of Deckerville; one sister-in-law Erdeen Essenmacher of Sandusky and one brother-in-law Orland (Shirley) Kilbourn of Snover, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother Harold McCarty Jr. and three sisters, Eleanor Miller, Mildred Broeckaert and Jean Marski.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Apsey Funeral Home.
