Diane Zapinski Obituary
Diane J. Zapinski, age 83, of Deckerville, formerly of Howell, died Monday December 7, 2020 in Autumnwood of Deckerville.
She was born August 10, 1937 in Mount Clemens the daughter of the late Leslie and Edna (Gordon) Lyles.
Diane grew up in Howell where she attended school. On September 3, 1959 she married Edward Zapinski in Howell, he preceded her in death in September 1969.
She worked as a Walmart Greeter in Howell and was also a former employee at Sears. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and family. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Brighton.
Diane is survived by her son Edward (Dawn) Zapinski of Deckerville and her daughter Cheryl (Pat) Rineman of Howell; also, five grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her brother Robert Lyles.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Fairview Cemetery, Brighton, MI.
Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
