Edward J. Bowerman, age 90, of Deckerville, passed away Saturday August 24, 2019 in Autumnwood of Deckerville.
He was born June 12, 1929 in Bridgehampton Township, the son of the late Glen and Lois (Bloomfield) Bowerman.
He grew up in the Deckerville area and attended Deckerville Community School graduating in 1947. On June 11, 1955 he married Joann C. Williams. Together they farmed in Bridgehampton Township and raised two sons there. After retiring from farming Ed drove school bus for Deckerville Community Schools and in his spare time liked to pitch horseshoes.
Ed is survived by his wife Joann; sons, Donald Bowerman and Jeffery (Yvonne) Bowerman; two grandchildren Scott and Trisha; and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister Mrs. Ann Hewett and one brother Glenn Bowerman.
There is no visitation or services currently scheduled.
