Harold Hallock Obituary
Harold J. Hallock, age 66 of Palms, left us on Sunday, May 21, 2023 to be with his family that have passed on, after a hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer. Our hearts are broken, and we will miss him.
He was born August 10, 1956, in Alpena to the late Howard and Wava Hallock. He married Susan Peck in 2006.
Harold went to Overdale Schools and was employed at Midwest Rubber in Deckerville for almost 25 years with many caring co-workers. He still wanted to work while dealing with his cancer diagnosis and appreciated his company's willingness to accommodate his treatments.
Harold loved NASCAR and enjoyed attending races with friends. Dale Earnhardt #3 was his guy from the past and now he has the best seat for every race looking down from above.
Harold is survived by his wife, Susan; two children Bryan and Laurie; two stepchildren, Matthew and Nathan Peck; granddaughter, Alexandra Peck; siblings, Danny (Pearl) Hallock, Glenda Hallock, Cindy Powell, Randall Hallock, Jeff (Janice) Hallock and Leonard Hallock; and many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings, Kenneth (Jan) Hallock, Patrick Hallock and Kathleen (Tim) Skipinski; two nieces and two nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3-7 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2023 in the Apsey Funeral Home with a concluding prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
