John Willing Obituary
John H. Willing age 87, of Forester Township, passed away Thursday September 18, 2014 in his home after an extended illness.
He was born December 14, 1926 in Armada, MI the son of the late John N. and Catherine R. (Neumayer) Willing.
He married Miss. Minnie Tanton on July 22, 1950 in Deckerville.
John was a member of the Sanilac Sportsmen's Club. He enjoyed hunting, Freighter watching, camping and working in his shop. He was a graduate of Deckerville Community School, a Veteran of WWII, and a former employee of Huron Inc.
John is survived by his wife, Minnie of Forester Township, two sons, John and Debbie Willing of Deckerville, Craig Willing of Carsonville, one daughter Cindy and Phillip Klaus of Cass City, four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald Willing and Max Willing, three sisters Barbara Fox, Betty White, and Chatherine Willing.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of John H. Willing will be held at 7:00 PM., Friday in the Apsey Funeral Home. Pastor Brad Spiers will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM., until the time of service on Friday.
Memorials may be given to the Deckerville Community Hospital, or Hartland Hospice.
