Josie Fink Obituary
Josie M. Fink, age 79, of Deckerville, passed away on Tuesday September 19, 2017 in her home.
She was born April 22, 1938 in Floyd County, KY, the daughter of the late William and Parizetta (Watson) Lidster.
She married Gary Fink July 18, 1968 in Auburn, MI. He preceded her in death on June 29, 2012.
Josie grew up in the Pikeville, KY area and attended school at Melvin High School. She graduated from nursing school and became an LPN. She owned and operated Fink's AFC home east of Deckerville for many years until her retirement. She left a legacy of caring for many people other than her family.
Mrs. Fink is survived by two daughters, Betty Jean Potvin of Croswell and Margo (John) O'Mara of Deckerville; eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary (Willis) Little and Margo Lidster both of KY; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two daughters Tammie Heuer and Gail Tackett and one grandson Donnie Heuer and six brothers and three sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday September 22, 2017 in Downing Cemetery. Pastor Paul Slivka will officiate.
Memorials may be given to the family discretionary fund.
