Lacey R. Rumble

March 21, 1979 - March 4, 2022

Lacey Rae (Park) Rumble, age 42, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 4, 2022. From her birth, in Lapeer, MI on March, 21, 1979, to the day of her death Lacey was always full of spirit and generosity. Lacey, a loving wife and mother, always wore a kind smile while greeting people with a warm spirit. She was the youngest of three daughters and the baby sister to Melanie and Marcie who loved her dearly. Lacey grew up in the Marlette area and graduated from Marlette High School in 1997. On October 27, 2007 she married Donald Rumble, and together, they had three beautiful children, who became her everything. She is survived by Donald, her two daughters Madalyn and Isabella, and her son Charlie; her parents, her sisters Melanie (Tom) Pasek, and Marcie (Eric) Houck, her grandmother Lucille Schmitt, her nephews Nolan and Evan Houck, her niece Lauren Pasek, and her dear friend Mike Campbell. She is preceded in death by her grandparents George and Claudette Park, grandfathers Robert Schmitt and Vernon Schloss, her cousin Rob Schmitt, and her father-in-law Tom Rumble. For many years Lacey worked in various hospitals and office settings, starting at Marlette Hospital while she was still in high school. Once she had children, she made the decision to be a stay-at-home mom, doing what she believed to be best for her children. Lacey had such a loving and giving spirit as she loved cooking and sharing food with everyone; she also loved collecting antiques, laughing and acting foolish with her sisters, and gathering with friends and family whenever possible. She loved animals and was broken hearted at the loss of her two much adored dogs, Piper and Brownie. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her children. Together, they enjoyed tea parties, going on camping trips, swimming, biking, taking long walks in the woods, cuddling up for movie nights together, and experiencing new adventures. Lacey has left us too soon, but she will forever be remembered for her generous and loving heart, kind smile, and her unrelenting love for her family. Visitation for Lacey Rae Rumble will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 am till 11 am. The funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday March 12, 2022 at Apsey Funeral Home in Deckerville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for the children’s future education. In C/O Exchange State Bank Rumble Education Fund. Condolences may be sent online to apseyfuneralhome.net.
