Laverna Caswell Obituary
Laverna Arlene Caswell age 95 of Deckerville passed away Tuesday April 26, 2022, at Stonegate Assisted Living in Sandusky Michigan.
She was born December 15, 1926, in Deckerville Michigan, the daughter of the late Howard and Grace (Wilson) Kenny.
On March 25, 1949, she married Raymond Caswell in Deckerville. He preceded her in death on April 20,2008.
She worked at the Bank in Deckerville for many years.
She liked Crocheting, playing cards, and loved eating chocolate. She was a member of the Deckerville Bible Church.
Laverna is survived by her Son Phillip (Piper) Caswell of Rockville Maryland, Grandchildren Chelsea (Shawn) Harrison Laurie (Erick) Burns, Drew Caswell, Gabrielle Caswell. Great grandchildren Payton Thompson, Cole Sonnenberg, Jacob Harrison, and Addyson Ganley. Great Great Grandchild Easton Thompson. Daughter in law Janie Caswell. Many nieces and Nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Caswell, Son Wayne Caswell, and brother Gene Kenny.
Visitation for Laverna will be held from 3pm until 8pm Thursday April 28, 2022, and from 10am until 11am on the day of the service at the Apsey funeral home in Deckerville.
Funeral service at 11 am Friday April 29, 2022, with the Pastor Dan Packer officiating.
Burial in Downing Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Stonegate Assisted Living.
