Lawrence Walling Obituary
Lawrence S. Walling, age 87, of Palms, died Tuesday December 8, 2020, in Autumnwood of Deckerville.
He was born October 22, 1933, the son of the late Scott and Marjorie (Branch) Walling.
Larry grew up in the Palms area and attended school in Ubly where he graduated with the Class of 1952.
On December 18, 1989 he married Connie Goodrich-Hole. She preceded him in death on March 4, 2012.
He was a former employee of the Palms Elevator and Deckerville Die-Form. He enjoyed camping, fishing, woodworking, and gardening.
Lawrence is survived by his children, Debra (James) Sopczynski of Deckerville, Michael (Rita) Walling of OH., Dennis (Vicky) Walling of Argyle, Sandra (Brian) Petts of Battle Creek, Donald Walling of FL., and Sally Fagan of Clinton Township; step-children Vernon (Judy) Hole of Novi, Marie (Ed) Logan of Deckerville, Vincent (Diane) Hole of Clinton Township and Janet (Richard) Clark of Deford; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
