Lillian Michaels Obituary
Lillian F. Michaels, age 85, of Deckerville, passed away Thursday February 13, 2020 in Covenant Cooper Health Care, Saginaw.
She was born April 21, 1934 in Applegate, the daughter of the late Elmer and Frances (Anderson) Ginther.
She grew up in the Applegate area and attended school in Croswell, graduating in1952. On October 8, 1954 she married Harold Michaels in Croswell.
Lillian worked at the Deckerville Community School for twenty-nine years as a teacher's aide. She enjoyed bowling and attended the Deckerville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband Harold; one son Brian (Linda) Michaels of OR; two daughters, Marilyn (Tim) Moen of TX, and Yvonne (Mike) Edmonson of WA; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leslie and Glenn Ginther.
Funeral services to honor the life of Lillian F. Michaels will be 11:00 AM Thursday February 20, 2020 in the Apsey Funeral Home. Mr. Greg Trowhill will officiate. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 PM Wednesday and 10:00 AM until the time of service Thursday.
Memorials may be given to the Deckerville Education Foundation.
