Luella Nye Obituary
Luella A. Nye, age 77, of Deckerville, died Sunday July 10, 2022, in Autumnwood of Deckerville.
She was born July 1, 1945, in Harbor Beach, the daughter of the late Edward and Eleanor (Umbriet) Nye.
Luella grew up in the Forestville area and graduated from Harbor Beach High School. She worked at Midwest Rubber for 50 years retiring in 2016. She enjoyed putting puzzles together and needle point.
Luella is survived by her son Lonnie Nye of Port Huron; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren; one sister Carole Nye of Deckerville; and several aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard, and Larry.
Funeral services to honor the life of Luella Nye will be 11:00 AM Thursday July 14, 2022. Rev. Henry Hales officiating. Burial will be in East Delaware Cemetery, Forestville.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 PM-8:00 PM and Thursday from 10:00am until the time of services.
