Magdalen ?Ann? Schultz, age 95, of Deckerville, died March 15, 2010 in Autumnwood of Deckerville. She was born October 26, 1914 in Deckerville, the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Bungart) Michaels. She married Melvin Schultz in 1960. He preceded in death in 1968. She was a graduate of Deckerville High School, and St. Joseph School of Nursing, Class of 1941 in Mount Clemens. She enlisted in the US Army Nurse Corp in November 1942, and served in North Africa and Italy for 38 months during WWII. She was discharged as a 1st Lieutenant. She continued her career in nursing until her retirement. Mrs. Schultz is survived by stepdaughters Karen Lambert, and Lourine Hook, and several step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, John Michaels, four sisters, Susan Tobi, Elizabeth Thomas, Mary Deloli, and Helen Laughlin. Cremation has taken place with burial to follow in Pellston, Cemetery in the summer with Military Honors. Arrangements were by the Apsey Funeral Home, your ?Legacy of Life? funeral home.
