Maria Falcon Obituary
Maria R. Govea Falcon, age 79, of Deckerville, Michigan, passed away Sunday October 15, 2017 in McLaren Port Huron Hospital.
She was born January 18, 1938 in Sandia, TX, the daughter of the late Miguel and San Juana (Resendez) Govea.
She married Homero Falcon on April 6, 1955 in Palito Blanco, TX. He preceded her in death May 30, 2002. Together they raised five daughters Veronica (Rodney) Tschirhart of St. Clair Shores, Lee (David) Eggert of Bridgehampton Township, Virginia (Charles) Mirisciotti of Warren, Irene (Chris) Phillips of Deckerville and Mary (Jose Jr.) Martinez of Harrison Township. Mrs. Falcon enjoyed spending time with her twelve grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren.
A private family visitation was held on Saturday October 21, 2017 along with a prayer service.
Cremation has taken place and burial of the cremains will be in the Downing Cemetery at a later date.
