Marilyn Klaus Obituary

Marilyn June Klaus age 84 passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Autumwood of Deckerville.
Marilyn June Taylor was born on November 5, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan. Marilyn married Kenneth Klaus in February, 1953 and together they had seven children. They resided in Palms and owned and operated a farm. Later in life she sold real estate. During the PBB crisis she was appointed by Governor Milliken to sit on the PBB Commission in Lansing.
Marilyn loved her music, dancing, and loved to draw and paint. She also loved her children and grandchildren, her family was her life, her faith was strong and so was she. She was the rock for our entire family, she will be missed by all.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Cinda (Dennis) Shanks, Lynn (John) Meissner, Mark (Sally) Klaus, Julie (Terry) Meissner, Kriss (Renee) Klaus, and Eric Klaus. 11 grandchildren; Beth (Rob) Flumignan, Lee Ann (Kris) Norlock, Alicia and Jonathon Meissner, Dustin (Amber) Klaus, Amanda (Buck) Machulis, Toni (Conner) Klaus, Kenneth (Beth) Eyer, Drew Eyer, Arieona and Addison Klaus. Five Great-Grandchildren;
Ethan, Ella, and Hayden Flumignan, and Tucker and Harper Machulis. One sister Johanna Colesa.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mable and William, one daughter Cheryl, Brothers Jim, Doug and Ed Taylor, Sisters Connie Taylor and Shirley Schofield.
A memorial for Marilyn will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the many caregivers at Autumwood of Deckerville who loved and cared for Marilyn all these years.
