Marlene W. Washe, age 80, of Casrsonville, passed away Wednesday March 25, 2020 in Stonegate Village Assisted Living.
She was born July 9, 1939 in Deckerville the daughter of the late Melvin (Wesley) and Etta (Jones) Walker.
She grew up in the Deckerville area and graduated from Deckerville Community School in 1957.
On April 4, 1959 she married Robert Washe in Carsonville.
Marlene was a former employee of Plastech in Croswell and helped her husband on the farm. She was also a licensed beautician, working out of her home.
She enjoyed watching sports, whether it was her own children and grandchildren or anyone else's children, and the Detroit Tigers or Lions. She also enjoyed crocheting.
Marlene was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church/Ave Maria Parish in Port Sanilac.
She is survived by her husband Robert of Carsonville; four sons, Charles (Tonia) Washe of Port Huron, Thomas (Sandy) Washe of Port Sanilac, Andrew (Christine) Washe of Forester, Christopher (Norlene) Washe of Carsonville and god daughter Tammy Alexander of Mt. Pleasant; one brother Ron Walker of CA; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will take place at a later date.
Memorials may be given to the Carsonville Athletic Association.
