Peter Rogissart Obituary
Peter J. Rogissart, age 71, of Forestville, passed away Wednesday September 6, 2017 in the Harbor Beach Hospital.
He was born April 16, 1946 in Detroit, the son of the late Raymond and Natalie (Squires) Rogissart.
Peter married Miss. Vicki Neiswander on June 26, 1971 in Redford. Together they raised two sons, Raymond (Nicole) Rogissart of AZ., and Christopher Rogissart deceased in 2016. He is also survived by one brother Dennis Rogissart of Bloomfield; and two sisters, Mrs. Madalyn (Daniel) Sommerman of Northville and Diane (Mark) Rose of Livonia, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Rogassart grew up in Livonia where he graduated from Bentley High School. He attended Eastern Michigan University and later graduated from the Detroit School of Law. He started the Rogissart Law Firm in Livonia where he practiced law for many years. He and his wife purchased a house on Lake Huron in Forestville and in the early 2000's retired there. Peter had a love for the sport of soccer. He coached and refereed in the Plymouth-Canton area for several years.
A memorial service to honor and reflect will be held at the family lake house at a later date.
