Robert Wayne Deehan, age 86, of Sanilac County Michigan passed away Monday
April 20, 2020 at Autumnwood of Deckerville and the staff provided
exceptional care.
He was born September 29th, 1933 in Windsor, Ontario the son of Walter
and Myrtle (Campbell) Deehan.
Bob completed refrigeration school in the early 1970's and worked for
many years until retirement at Ford Tractor World Headquarters in
Troy, MI maintaining the Heating & Cooling systems (HVAC). His
earlier work life as a young kid included many odd jobs such as:
Delivering ice for ice boxes, setting up pins in a bowling ally,
cracking eggs in a bakery, and many more. He had a strong work ethic
and rarely missed a day on the job.
Bobs' Ranch was conceptualized when he purchased property in the early
1970's "up north in the thumb". Since he grew up in the city he had a
great appreciation for being out in the woods and he loved to see
wildlife. After working all week he spent his weekends building a
place to live for his retirement and he reached that goal when he was age
60. His other interests were Tae Kwon Do (Blue Belt),
yoga, piano, horses, distance running, volunteering to teach
english literacy, and spent time raising his children.
He is survived by his son Michael Deehan of Tuscon, AZ and daughter
Alexandra Deehan of Phoenix, AZ and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Shawn Deehan and several brothers
