Ruth Genoff Obituary
Ruth Ann Genoff, age 76, of Ubly, died Friday May 27, 2022, in Medilodge of Cass City.
She was born April 24, 1946, in Sandusky the daughter of the late Charles and Augusta Mae (Lietka) Lossing.
She grew up in Deckerville and attended Deckerville Community Schools, graduating in 1964.
She was a former employee of DOTT Manufacturing and worked part time as the cleaning lady at the funeral home for several years.
Ruth Ann enjoyed playing BINGO and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by two sons, Sam (Tracy) Genoff of Snover and Gary Ross of Ubly; two grandchildren Derek Genoff and Jenna Genoff; two great grandchildren Harlan James Genoff and Lindon Genoff; one brother Godfred (Diane) Lossing of Taylor; three sisters Luella (Keith) Davis of Ubly, Kay (John) Gerstenberger of Sandusky, and Diane Braun of Bad Axe; special niece Susan Sy; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Genoff in 1971; longtime companion Gary Ross Sr.: two brothers Bernard Lossing and Charles Lossing Jr; two sisters Rose Marie Evans and Mary Jane Lietka.
A graveside service for Ruth Ann Genoff will take place in St. Ignatius Cemetery on Saturday July 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM.
Memorials may be given to the family.
