Wanda VanSickle Obituary
Wanda Mae VanSickle, age 75, of Coral Springs, Florida (Michigan native), passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by love. She was the beloved mother of Donald VanSickle, Sally Ohel, and Betty Eldridge and beloved sister of Harold Reid. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Jennifer, Hugh, Melissa, Danny, Samantha, Susan, and two great grandchildren, Aiden and Wyatt.
Wanda was an extremely hard worker her entire life. She enjoyed being a computer graphic artist at GraphLine for over twenty years. Many were amazed by her technical intellect, due to the generation she grew up in. If someone needed help navigating a computer, she was the person to call!
Wanda's favorite pastime was to needlepoint blankets, pillows, and aprons for her loved ones. She also enjoyed creating personalized photo albums for all of her loved ones' special occasions. They always brought her family and friends a great sense of joy.
Wanda's greatest joy was keeping track of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In true 'technical' grandma style, she loved to see what they were doing by keeping track of them on Facebook. When they would call, she would grin from ear to ear all day. She loved everyone and everyone loved her.
The viewing will be held on Tuesday July 7, 2015 from 2:00 PM-8:00 PM., and from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM., on Wednesday. The funeral will be held 11:00 AM., Wednesday in the Apsey Funeral Home. Pastor Paul Slivka will officiate. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery. Flowers may be sent to the Apsey Funeral Home 3467 Main St. Deckerville, MI.
