Alice Marian Turk, age 91, 0f Deckerville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday July 23, 2019 in Autumnwood of Deckerville
She was born November 3, 1927 in Detroit the daughter of the late George E. and Marian A. (Walker) Turk.
Alice was a lifelong nurse who worked at the Deckerville Community Hospital as Director of Nursing until her retirement. She was a very active member of the Deckerville Baptist Church, serving as a Bible teacher, singing in the choir and playing the piano and organ.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Mrs. Jeanne Turk of Iowa; niece Sheryl Turk La Pierre of California; five great nephews and four great nieces.
She was preceded in death by her brother Ralph Turk; and nephew Vincent Turk.
Funeral services to honor the life of Alice Marian Turk will be 2:30 PM., Friday July 26, 2019 at the Deckerville Baptist Church. Pastor Jed Willis will officiate. A private burial service will take place in the Port Sanilac Cemetery prior to the funeral service.
Memorials may be given to the Deckerville Baptist Church or United Hospice.
