Charles Warczinsky Obituary

Charles I. Warczinsky, age 96, of Ft. Gratiot, formerly of Deckerville, passed away on October 27, 2015 in Regency on the Lake.

Charles was born October 9, 1919 in Delaware Township, the son of the late Charles and Edna (Richardson) Warczinsky.

He married Miss. Eunice Shaw on November 9, 1945. She preceded in death on December 8, 2006

Charles attended school at the Hunt and Charleston Country Schools. He worked at Midwest Rubber from 1959 to 1991 and retired as plant superintendent. He enjoyed boating and being with his grandchildren. He was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church.

He is survived by one son Chuck (Chris) Warczinsky of Ft. Gratiot, daughter-in-law Paula Warczinsky of Port Sanilac, six grandchildren, Marnie (Bob) Schmidt, Tammy (Jim) Wagester, Angie (Chad) Hooper, Ryan (Beth) Warczinsky, Charles Warczinsky, and Cara (Tim) Furness, also seven great grandchildren, He was preceded in death by one son, Dixon Warczinsky and seven sisters.

Funeral services to honor the life of Charles I. Warczinsky will be 11:00 AM., Saturday in St. John Lutheran Church, Palms, Pastor Henry Hales will officiate. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 PM Friday in the Apsey Funeral Home and from 10:00 AM until the time of service at church on Saturday.

Memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Cemetery Fund or Blue Water Hospice.
