Marian Wolf Obituary
Marian Agnes (Lapp) Wolf, age 88, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2014. She was born January 27, 1925 in Ann Arbor, the daughter of the late George & Louise (Bockstahler) Lapp.
Marian was an active member at St. John Lutheran Church in Palms. She was an avid reader who enjoyed gardening and crafting. She loved nature and passed on this passion to her children. Marian enjoyed spending time with her family and always had room for one more plate at her table.
Marian is survived by her children: Roger (Debbie) Wolf, Peter (Cindy) Wolf, Linda Criswell, Nancy Wolf, Melody Harper and William C. Wolf III; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Robert (Doris) Lapp; special cousin, Betty (Jerry) Pohl; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter; children: Wendy, James and Dexter, and brother, George Lapp, Jr.
Visitation will take place Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Apsey Funeral Home in Deckerville from 4-8 pm.
The funeral service will be on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at St. John Lutheran Church in Palms. Visitation will begin at the church at 12 noon until the time of service at 1 pm.
The burial will take place privately at Snay Cemetery in the spring.
Memorial donations may be given to St. John Lutheran Church or Snay Cemetery Association.
