Robert Zentgrebe Obituary
Robert L. Zentgrebe age 88, of Sandusky, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday February 14, 2014 in the Sanilac Medical Care Facility.
He was born March 27, 1925 in Sandusky, the son of the late Carl and Ella (Miller) Zentgrebe.
He married Miss. Charlotte A. Moore on March 11, 1950 in Angola, IN. She preceded him in death on May 17, 1996.
Mr. Zentgrebe was a veteran of the US Army during WWII. He was a longtime member of Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church. He was a former employee of the Sanilac Career Center. Robert enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and horticulture, along with being with his family.
He is survived by one son Brad (Diane) Zentgrebe, and one daughter Suzie (Paul) Gabriau, both of Sandusky, six grandchildren, Derrick, and Andrew Babcock, Christine Champagne, Aaron Zentgrebe, Toni Bobcean, and Jennifer Zentgrebe, a daughter-in-law Jeannie Zentgrebe.
He was preceded in death by two sisters Ardis Neuman and Patricia Potter Chesser, and one son Jeff Zentgrebe.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Robert L. Zentgrebe will be 12:30 PM., Monday February 17th, in Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church. Pastor Eric Kilmer will officiate.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10:30-12:30 Monday at Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Memorials may be given to the church or the donor's choice.
